Foils & Balayage

Foils and balayage are the heart of what I do. Whether you want bright, even highlights, soft hand-painted balayage or a multidimensional blend of both, every placement is designed for your face shape, your natural colour and the way you wear your hair.
Foils and balayage services
- Part line foils: a quick refresh around your parting and face
- Half head foils: brightness on the top and sides, where it shows most
- Full head foils: all-over dimension, even when your hair is up
- Balayage: hand-painted, sun-kissed colour with a soft grow-out
- Highlights and lowlights: depth and dimension, including grey blending
- Toner and gloss: to finish every foil service with the perfect shade

Foils or balayage?
| Foils | Balayage | |
|---|---|---|
| Finish | Bright, even and defined | Soft, blended and natural |
| Grow-out | More visible regrowth | Very soft |
| Touch-ups | Around every 6–10 weeks | Around every 3–4 months |
| Best for | Maximum brightness, grey blending | Low maintenance, lived-in colour |
Not sure? Many clients get the best result from a mix of both. Read my full guide: Foils vs balayage: which should you choose?

Your foils or balayage appointment
- Consultation: we agree on brightness, placement and upkeep

- Book a toner refresh between foil appointments
- Add a treatment for strength and shine
Foils and balayage FAQs
How often will I need my foils redone?
Most foil clients come back every 6–10 weeks; balayage clients every 3–4 months. It depends on how fast your hair grows and how bright you like it.
Can foils cover my grey?
Foils blend grey beautifully rather than covering it solidly, so regrowth is much softer.
How long does the appointment take?
Usually 2–3 hours, depending on the service and the length and thickness of your hair.
