Colour & Regrowth

Beautiful colour should look rich, feel healthy and grow out gracefully. At Fabuluxe Hair Studio in Vermont I use Wella Professional colour to cover greys, refresh faded lengths and keep your regrowth seamless between visits. Every appointment starts with a consultation, so the shade is matched to your skin tone, your natural base and how often you want to come in.

Colour and regrowth services

  • Regrowth tint: colour applied to the roots to cover greys and keep your colour consistent, from $100
  • Full colour: permanent or demi colour from roots to ends for even, glossy results, from $120
  • Grey blending: fine foils and toner that soften the line between natural grey and colour, for longer gaps between visits
  • Toning: a gloss to neutralise brassiness or refresh your shade, from $80
  • Men’s colour: natural-looking coverage for short hair, from $80

Regrowth tint or full colour?

If your lengths still look rich and only the roots have grown, a regrowth tint is all you need, usually every four to six weeks. If your ends have faded, look dull or have different tones through them, a full colour evens everything out. Not sure? We can decide together at your appointment, or you can book a free 15-minute consultation first.

Your colour appointment

We start by talking about the colour you want and checking your hair’s condition and history. The colour is mixed for you, applied with care, then finished with a wash, treatment and blow wave. Regrowth tints take about 100 minutes including styling. A K18 treatment can be added to strengthen your hair while you colour.

Making your colour last

  • Wait 48 hours before your first wash so the colour can settle
  • Use a sulfate-free, colour-safe shampoo and conditioner
  • Rinse with cool water and use heat protection when styling
  • Book your next regrowth tint before you leave, so roots never get away from you

Colour FAQs

Will it cover all my greys? Permanent colour gives full coverage. If you want a softer look with less upkeep, grey blending is a great alternative. Read more in grey blending explained.

Can you fix box dye or uneven colour? Yes. Colour correction is planned after a consultation. See what to expect from colour correction.
